Questions About the Planner
Which countries does the planner work for?
Any. It is deliberately country-neutral: it organizes the work of moving and holds no visa rules, tax rates or prices. That keeps it accurate whichever country you choose. For country rules, use our country pages and guides.
Do I need Microsoft Excel?
It is built in the standard Excel format for Excel 2016 or later on Windows or Mac. It also opens in Google Sheets, Apple Numbers and LibreOffice, where some formatting may look slightly different.
How does the timeline date itself?
Type your planned move date on the Start here tab. Each task has a fixed offset, for example six months before, and its target date is calculated from your move date. Change the move date and every date moves with it.
Which currencies does it handle?
Any. You type the local currency code and the rate for one U.S. dollar, for example from your bank or the European Central Bank reference rate, and the budgets convert with it.
What if a file will not open?
If a file will not open, email us with your order number and we will put it right by sending you a working copy free of charge.
Will my card statement say Quantum Jetset?
