Denmark Relocation Guide
Everything on our Denmark page, taken further and turned into a working file: a 91-page guide with document lists by route from the Embassy of Denmark’s own submission checklists for applicants in the United States and the document lists on newtodenmark.dk, the pay limits and SIRI’s fees for your household, the registration fees on a purchase worked out at five prices, and a month-by-month plan; an Excel workbook that does the arithmetic; and a Word checklist you check off as you go. Every rule and official figure is taken from, or calculated from, an official source, 170 of them, checked on September 25 and October 4, 2026; the worked households use assumed incomes, labeled as such.

What You Get Beyond the Free Page
Our Denmark page is free and stays free. The guide adds the parts you need when you actually start the paperwork.
| Chapter or tool | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Three worked households | A retired couple in Helsingør on the spouse route, a remote-working couple with two children in Copenhagen who move on a Danish job under the Pay Limit Scheme, and a single early retiree of Danish descent in Odense, each taken through the route the rules point to, the tests line by line, the first-year fees and the monthly lines with an official figure (composite examples: their incomes and savings are assumptions, not real clients). |
| First-year cost plan | SIRI’s and the Immigration Service’s fees, the VFS fee and the official references, and the monthly running costs, with a column for your own figures; it matches the workbook, and it says plainly where no official figure exists, such as a private-market rent. |
| Document tracker and month-by-month plan | Each document by route with where to get it and any validity or translation rule an official source states, plus a plan from 12 months before the move to 3 months after, as checklists in Word. |
| Document lists by route | The Embassy of Denmark’s submission checklists for applicants in the United States and the document lists on newtodenmark.dk for the Pay Limit, Fast-Track, Positive List, researcher, accompanying family, spouse, Danish-roots, Start-up Denmark and study routes, each dated to the version we read. |
| Your household’s numbers | The salary floors for one earner, SIRI’s fees for a household of one or two adults and up to three children, the Start-up Denmark funds, and the spouse route’s financial guarantee and housing rule, in kroner and dollars. |
| Purchase costs, worked | The deed and mortgage registration fees at five prices, and the yearly property value tax for each million kroner of public assessment. |
| Numbers, deadlines and glossary | Emergency numbers in the official wording, the Danish offices in the United States, the deadlines that repeat, and the local terms you will meet. |

Made For
- Americans who have chosen Denmark, or narrowed it to Denmark and one other country.
- People with a Danish job offer, researchers and highly paid specialists, and the families moving with them.
- People with a Danish spouse or partner, and people with Danish parents or grandparents.
- Anyone who wants to arrive at a lawyer’s or tax adviser’s office already knowing the rules.
What It Is Not
- Legal, tax or immigration advice. It explains the rules in general; your case needs your advisers.
- A retirement or digital nomad visa: Denmark has none, and the guide says so, with the routes a Danish spouse, a Danish job or Danish roots can open.
- Residence by investment: we found no investor route on Denmark’s official list of application types.

Questions About the Guide
How is the guide different from your free Denmark page?
The page explains the rules; the guide is built for doing the work. It adds three worked household examples, a first-year cost plan, a document tracker and a month-by-month plan, document lists by route, the salary floors and fees for your household, the registration fees worked out at five prices, deadlines, a glossary and key numbers, plus the Excel workbook and the Word checklists.
How current is it?
The sources of our Denmark page were read on October 4, 2026, seven U.S. federal and EU sources on September 25, and the sources added for the guide’s own chapters, including the Embassy’s checklists, on October 4; each figure is numbered to its source, which is marked with the day it was read. Figures carry the year they apply to, and the guide lists what changes on January 1, 2027. Each edition is dated; a later edition is a new purchase. If you find an error in your file, we send a corrected copy free.
Does Denmark have a retirement visa?
No. Denmark’s official list of application types has no retirement, passive-income or digital nomad permit. The guide sets out the routes that a Danish spouse or Danish parents or grandparents can open, with a worked example of a retired couple on the spouse route.
Does the guide cover the Pay Limit Scheme?
Yes: the 2026 salary floor and what counts toward it, the documents SIRI lists and the Embassy’s checklist for the appointment at VFS Global, the fees for the worker and each family member, the family’s right to work, and a worked example of a family moving on a Danish job.
Is it legal or tax advice?
No. Quantum Jetset does not give legal, tax, immigration, financial or investment advice. The guide explains how the rules work in general and lists the questions to take to a licensed lawyer and a cross-border tax adviser.
What if a file will not open?
If a file will not open, email us with your order number and we will put it right by sending you a working copy free of charge.
Will my card statement say Quantum Jetset?
It will show MEGACOMMERCIALENT, the payment name of Mega Commercial Enterprises Limited, the Irish company behind Quantum Jetset.
Quantum Jetset does not give legal, tax, immigration, financial or investment advice. The guide explains the rules in general, with official sources checked on September 25 and October 4, 2026; check the source before you act and speak to a licensed professional where it matters.
